Alexandra Gomez-Jimenez, Esq. PC

Alexandra Gomez-Jimenez is a Spanish-speaking immigration attorney and trusted advocate who has spent more than two decades helping clients navigate the complex U.S. immigration system. Over the past 20+ years, she has helped over 4,000 immigrants defend against removal, obtain work visas, secure green cards, and ultimately achieve U.S. citizenship. Known by immigration judges and colleagues as a fierce and tireless advocate for her clients, Ms. Gomez-Jimenez is trusted to handle complex immigration matters that require careful strategy, experience, and persistence.

Since opening her practice in Manhattan in 2009, she has built a reputation for delivering results and standing beside her clients through some of the most challenging moments of their lives. Ms. Gomez-Jimenez is known for her honesty and transparency with clients.  She carefully evaluates each case, communicates clearly with clients in both English and Spanish about the strengths and challenges involved, and only takes on matters she believes have true legal merit.   Her dedication and success have earned her the trust of the immigrant community—more than 95% of her clients come through referrals from former clients, who trust her to guide their friends and family through life-changing immigration matters.

Unlike many law firms that divide their attention among multiple areas of law, Ms. Gomez-Jimenez focuses exclusively on immigration law. This singular focus allows her to stay at the forefront of constantly evolving immigration policies and procedures while providing strategic, personalized representation for every client. Together with her team, Ms. Gomez-Jimenez handles a wide range of immigration matters, including removal defense, asylum, cancellation of removal, family-based immigration, waivers, VAWA petitions, T and U visas, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS), and consular processing.

Born in Colombia and raised in Miami by a single mother, Ms. Gomez-Jimenez understands the immigrant journey firsthand. After coming to the United States as a child, she went through the immigration process—eventually obtaining her green card and proudly becoming a United States citizen in 2001. Having personally experienced the challenges, uncertainty, and hope that come with the immigration system, she is deeply committed to helping other families find safety, stability, and opportunity in the United States.

Ms. Gomez-Jimenez graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida International University and earned her Juris Doctor from New York Law School. She founded her immigration practice in Manhattan in 2009 and relocated the firm to Westchester County/White Plains, New York, in 2022, where she now leads a dedicated legal team committed to helping clients navigate the immigration process and build secure futures in the United States. She is admitted to the New York State Bar and represents immigration clients across the United States.

Fluent in Spanish, Ms. Gomez-Jimenez communicates directly with many of her clients and works closely with translators to assist individuals from diverse communities, including Chinese, Polish, Russian, Ukrainian, and Indian backgrounds.

Her mission is simple: to fight for every client and help families achieve the same American Dream that brought her and her family to the United States.
