Alexandra Gomez-Jimenez is an aggressive immigration lawyer, handling the difficult cases others have given up on. She specializes in deportation and removal defense, asylum, family immigration, adjustment of status, consular processing, and citizenship.

Alexandra Gomez-Jimenez was born in Colombia and raised by a single mother in Miami, Florida. She excelled in school, and earned a full academic scholarship to Florida International University where she double-majored in International Business and Finance and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Ms. Gomez-Jimenez attended New York Law School in Lower Manhattan, where she gained experience advocating tirelessly on behalf of the immigrant community working for a prominent immigration attorney while earning her degree. After graduation, Ms. Gomez-Jimenez worked at an immigration law firm in Manhattan where she was quickly elevated to the position of supervising attorney, taking on the most challenging immigration matters.

 

In 2009, Ms. Gomez-Jimenez opened her law practice in Manhattan. Her practice has been extremely successful. As a testament to her superlative customer service, the majority of Ms. Gomez-Jimenez’ cases come in the form of referrals from formal clients. She is a member the New York State Bar, but can accept immigration cases in all states.

 

As an immigrant herself, Ms. Gomez-Jimenez is fluent in Spanish enabling her to directly communicate with her Spanish speaking clientele. At the same time, she has around the clock access to translators and has advocated for Chinese, Polish, Russian, Ukrainian, and Indian clients, among others.
